GIG Logistics price list in 2026 typically ranges from ₦3,000 to ₦15,000+ for domestic deliveries depending on weight, distance, and service type. While it’s not the cheapest courier in Nigeria, it offers structured nationwide coverage—but users should expect variable pricing, extra charges, and occasional delivery delays.
Key Insights
- Pricing is not fixed—it varies significantly by route and weight
- GIGL is more expensive than smaller couriers, but more structured
- Hidden costs (packaging, handling, delays) are common user complaints
Best Options
- Best for reliability: GIG Logistics (structured network)
- Best for speed (within city): Kwik / bike dispatch services
- Best for budget: Local courier services
The GIG Logistics price list 2026 is not a single fixed table but a range based on delivery factors. Expect to pay ₦3,000–₦15,000+ for most domestic shipments in Nigeria. It’s reliable but not the cheapest, and actual costs often exceed initial estimates.
1. Understanding Logistics Pricing in Nigeria
To understand the GIG logistics shipping fee, you need to understand how pricing works in Nigeria generally.
Unlike countries with strict courier pricing systems, Nigeria’s logistics market is:
- Semi-structured
- Highly variable
- Influenced by fuel cost, road conditions, and demand
Key realities:
1. No universal pricing standard
Even major companies like GIGL adjust prices based on:
- Location
- Parcel type
- Demand fluctuations
2. Distance matters more than weight (sometimes)
A light package from Lagos → Abuja can cost more than a heavier one within Lagos.
3. Hidden charges are common
Across multiple platforms, users report:
- Packaging fees
- Handling fees
- Last-mile delivery charges
This is not unique to GIGL—it’s an industry-wide issue.
2. GIG Logistics Price List 2026
There is no official fixed public table that covers all scenarios, but based on consistent user reports and observed pricing patterns, here’s a realistic breakdown:
Within Same City (e.g., Lagos)
- Small parcel (0–2kg): ₦3,000 – ₦5,000
- Medium parcel (3–5kg): ₦5,000 – ₦7,500
- Large parcel (5kg+): ₦7,500+
Reality:
- Delivery may still take 24–48 hours
- Not always same-day despite being within city
Inter-State Delivery (Most Common Use Case)
Lagos → Abuja
- Small parcel: ₦6,000 – ₦9,000
- Medium parcel: ₦9,000 – ₦12,000
- Large parcel: ₦12,000 – ₦18,000+
Lagos → Port Harcourt / Kano / Enugu
- Typical range: ₦7,000 – ₦15,000+
Key insight:
Inter-state pricing is where most users feel the cost difference.
International Shipping (Via GIGL)
- Starts from ₦50,000+ depending on destination
- Can rise significantly based on weight and customs
Compared to:
- DHL / FedEx → Often more expensive but faster
What Affects GIG Price List?
1. Weight
Heavier items = higher cost, but not always linear
2. Distance
Longer routes significantly increase pricing
3. Item Type
Fragile or special items may attract:
- Handling fees
- Insurance charges
4. Delivery Speed
Express options cost more (when available)
5. Pickup vs Drop-off
Pickup services may increase cost slightly
3. What People Often Get Wrong About GIG Pricing
This is where most confusion comes from.
“There is a fixed GIG price list”
There isn’t.
What exists is:
- A pricing framework
- Not a universal price table
“Price quoted online = final price”
In many cases:
Final cost increases at the office
Reasons include:
- Re-weighing
- Packaging adjustments
- Additional service fees
“GIG is expensive for no reason”
Not entirely true.
You’re paying for:
- Nationwide network
- Structured operations
- Brand reliability
But:
You are NOT paying for speed or premium support.
4. Risks, Hidden Charges & What People Ignore
Hidden Charges
Across multiple user reports:
- Packaging fees (₦500–₦2,000+)
- Last-mile delivery charges
- Insurance (optional but sometimes pushed)
Delivery Delays
Even after paying premium prices:
- Deliveries can exceed expected timelines
- Especially during peak periods
Customer Support Gaps
A recurring complaint:
“Once there’s a delay, getting help is difficult.”
Fragile Item Risk
Not unique to GIGL, but common:
- Rough handling reported
- Extra packaging required
5. Real Nigerian Scenarios (What Actually Happens)
Scenario 1: Small Business Owner
A Lagos-based vendor ships to Abuja:
- Expected cost: ₦7,000
- Final cost: ₦9,500 (after packaging + adjustments)
- Delivery: 3 days instead of 2
Outcome:
Still acceptable—but not predictable
Scenario 2: Student Sending Documents
- Pays ₦4,000 within Lagos
- Expects same-day delivery
Reality:
Delivered next day
Scenario 3: First-Time User
- Gets initial quote online
- Visits office
- Price increases
Reaction:
Confusion due to lack of transparent pricing
6. Comparison: GIG Logistics vs Other Options
Kwik / Bike Dispatch
Better for:
- Same-day delivery
- Intra-city logistics
Trade-off:
- Less structured than GIGL
DHL / FedEx
Better for:
- International shipping
Trade-off:
- Much more expensive
Local Couriers
Better for:
- Cheap delivery
Trade-off:
- Less reliable
- Limited coverage
7. When GIG Logistics Is Worth the Price
Use GIGL if:
- You need inter-state delivery
- You want a structured logistics provider
- Your package is not extremely urgent
Avoid GIGL if:
- You want the cheapest option
- You need same-day delivery
- You require guaranteed timelines
8. Data & Consensus Layer (What Users Consistently Say)
Across multiple platforms:
Common complaints:
- Delivery delays
- Price inconsistency
- Customer support delays
Common praise:
- Wide coverage
- Reliability compared to smaller couriers
Observed trend:
In recent years, GIGL has become a “middle-ground” option:
- More reliable than cheap couriers
- Less efficient than premium international services

My experience with Gig Logistics was…My experience with Gig Logistics was very disappointing. Not only was my delivery delayed, but they also failed to update the tracking information on the waybill until the item had already arrived in my state. This lack of transparency made it impossible to track my package and caused unnecessary anxiety. When I reached out for assistance, customer service was unresponsive and unhelpful. For the price I paid, I expected much better service and communication. I would not recommend Gig Logistics based on this frustrating experience.

9. Final Insight (What This Really Means)
The GIG logistics price list 2026 is not just about numbers.
It reflects a bigger reality:
You are paying for structure—not perfection.
Final Takeaway
- GIGL is not the cheapest
- It is not the fastest
- But it is one of the most predictable logistics options in Nigeria
Bottom Line
If your priority is:
- Reliability → GIGL is worth it
- Speed → Look at dispatch services
- Cost → Consider smaller couriers
In Nigeria’s logistics system:
GIG Logistics sits in the middle—safe enough to trust, but not efficient enough to ignore its flaws
