Coollink is a Nigerian internet service provider specialising in satellite broadband connectivity, providing internet access to locations across Nigeria that fibre optic infrastructure will not reach in the foreseeable future – remote communities, rural businesses, oil field camps, missionary stations, and island communities where terrestrial broadband is physically impossible or economically unviable. Its service uses VSAT (Very Small Aperture Terminal) satellite technology to deliver broadband connectivity regardless of geographic location, addressing the fundamental challenge of Nigeria’s internet inequality: that the country’s connectivity map closely tracks its population density, leaving the 30 to 40 percent of Nigerians in rural and remote areas with no practical broadband option. Coollink’s customer base includes rural schools, agricultural businesses, humanitarian organisations, and commercial entities operating outside Nigeria’s major cities.
